Game Rules
Foundations · Top of layout
- Build in ascending sequence and in suit from Ace to King.
- Complete these piles to win the game.
Tableau · Center of layout
- Build in descending sequence and in alternating colors.
- Ranks are not continuous: a King can't be played on an Ace.
- The top card of each column can be played on the foundations or on another tableau column.
- Only one card at a time can be played.
- Spaces can be filled with cards from other tableau columns or from the waste.
Reserve · Top left of layout
- The top card can be played on the foundations only.
- Spaces can't be filled.
Stock · Top right of layout
- Turn up cards one at a time from the stock.
- No redeal is allowed.
Waste · Left of stock
- The top card can be played on the foundations or on the tableau.
