Foundations · Top left of layout
- Build up in suit from Ace to King.
- Complete these piles to win the game.
Tableau · Below foundations
- Build down regardless of suit.
- The topmost card is available for play on the foundations or the other tableau piles.
- Empty spaces can be filled by any card.
Reserves · Top right of layout
- The right reserve pile may be filled by any Queen.
- The left reserve pile may be filled by any King.
Stock · Below reserves
- Turn cards up one at a time from the stock.
- There is no redeal.
Waste · Below stock
- The topmost card is available for play on the foundations or the tableau.
