Foundations · Top of layout
- Build up in suit from Ace to King.
- Complete these piles to win the game.
Cells · Below foundations
- Storage locations for cards.
- Only one card allowed in each cell.
- The card is available for play on the foundations or tableau.
Tableau · Below cells
- Build down in suit.
- Move groups of cards if they are in sequence down in suit.
- Spaces can be filled only by Kings.
- At the start of the game 7 cards are dealt face up to each pile, except the first, fourth, and seventh piles, which are dealt 8 cards.
