Foundations · Corners of layout
- The card in the top left corner of the layout becomes the first foundation.
- The other three corners are the remaining foundations.
- Build up in suit from the base card to the rank just below the base card.
- Build Aces after Kings when necessary.
- Complete these piles to win the game.
Reserve · Forming cross in center of layout
- Build down regardless of suit.
- Build Kings after Aces when necessary.
- The top card of each pile is available for play to another reserve pile or to the foundations.
- Spaces may be filled with any available card.
Stock · Right side of layout
- Turn up one card at a time from the stock.
- There is no redeal.
Waste · Below stock
- The top card is available for play to the foundations or to the reserve.
