Foundations · Top left of layout
- Build up in suit from Ace to King.
- Complete these piles to win the game.
Tableau · Below foundations
- Build down in suit.
- The topmost card only is available for play on the foundations or the other tableau piles.
- At the start of the game any cards that can be played to the foundations are moved there automatically.
- Empty spaces can only be filled by a King.
Stock · Top right of layout
- Turn cards up one at a time from the stock.
- There is no redeal.
Waste · Left of stock
- The topmost card is available for play on the foundations and tableau.
