Foundations · Top left of layout
- Build up in suit from Ace to King, wrapping to Ace and then to King again, until each pile contains 26 cards.
- At the beginning of the game an Ace of each suit is dealt here.
- Complete these piles to win the game.
Tableau · Center of layout
- 10 cards each are dealt to these 10 piles.
- The piles are built down by alternate color.
- The top card is available for play on the foundations, cells, or another tableau pile.
- Move groups of cards if they are in sequence down by alternate color and if there are enough free cells that the cards could be moved individually.
- Fill spaces with Kings or legal groups of cards headed by a King.
Cells · Top right of layout
- Storage locations for cards.
- Only 1 card allowed in each cell.
- The card is available for play on the foundations or tableau.
