Golf Solitaire (also called One Foundation) is a single player card game that uses a deck of 52 cards. The aim of the game is to remove all the cards from the tableau piles one by one.
Like the Golf, the aim of the game is to earn the lowest number of points over the course of nine deals, also known as ‘holes’. One point is scored for each card remaining in the tableau after the stock has run out.
The layout of the game includes a foundation pile at the left of the stock. The golf solitaire rule is that you have to build up or down regardless of suit, wrapping Ace to King or King to Ace as necessary.
At the start of the game 35 cards are dealt out (7 columns of 5 cards each, all face up). They will form the tableau. Then one card is placed on the foundation.
The rest of the deck (the remaining 16 cards, all face down) will be the stock pile.
The stock is at the top right of the layout. You can turn cards up one at a time from the stock pile to the foundation.
In Golf solitaire there is no redeal.
The reserve is at the center of the layout. No building is allowed; only the topmost card of the each pile may be placed on the foundation.
An easy to understand and skill based game, especially good for relax and improving mental skills.
