Alhambra solitaire is a game with two decks of playing cards.
This hard to win game is named after The Alhambra, a famous palace and fortress complex in Granada, Andalusia (Spain).
At the top of the layout of the game you have eight foundation piles. You build up the top four piles in suit, starting from Ace to King, while you can build down the bottom four piles in suit from King to Ace.
To win the game, you have to move all the 104 cards to the foundations.

Below the foundations you have eight reserve piles with four cards each. This single player card game has one unusual rule: you build the cards from the Reserve either onto the foundation stacks or onto the waste pile (either up or down in suit).
You can move only the topmost cards to the foundations, and you cannot fill the empty spaces in the Reserve.

The layout also includes a Stock pile (Top right), and the game requires that you deal out only card at a time.
If this card is useless, move it to the Waste pile, where it may be placed onto the foundations.

Below the Stock is the Waste pile. Move the topmost card to the foundations only, and build up or down in suit with cards from the reserve piles, wrapping Aces and Kings as necessary.
There are two redeals in the Alhambra solitaire.
