Applegate Solitaire

Applegate is a kind of solitaire with one standard deck of cards. This single player game has certain similarities to both Spider and Yukon.

You have four foundation piles (at the top of the layout), and you build them down in suit wrapping. To win the game, you must create four suites of 13 cards of the same suit starting from King to Ace.

The layout also includes seven tableau piles (below foundations) where you can move any face up card and all the cards below it to the other foundation piles.

Applegate solitaire requires that you fill empty tableau spots only with a King or a stack whose bottommost card is a King.
The rule is that after you place cards on a foundation pile, you cannot move them.

When faces down cards become exposed, you can flip them over and they are now available for play.
You can place the cards from the reserve piles (at the top right of the layout) on the foundations.
Empty reserve spaces cannot be filled.

Applegate solitaire is a part of the app 700 Solitaire Games Pro.
